The Holy Gospel according to the Prairie Messiah

Like a myth you rode in from the west. From the go you had my button pressed. Did the tea-time of your soul Make you long for wilder days? Did you never let Jack Kerouac Wash over you in waves?

Red, white, and blue, the future is all but past. So lift up your heart, make a new start and lead us away from here.

Have I been busy or what? This summer's workload is just going to have that much busier. I guess I should call myself lucky with all this job security.

I have plans to fly into Baltimore, maybe in August. I don't know exactly when. I am trying to figure if it better to get a cheaper non-stop from the Jackson airport or just to fly out of Monroe with a connection in preferably ATL to visit the crazy fried lady at Popeye's and the smoking dungeon over in Concourse B for about $50 more. Anyhoo, more details about that when I get them.

I am blissfully happy over the news that my friend's daughter purchase of a FROZEN TOE sherbert bar off the helado bus last night. I'm going to plan a love connection. For those who are unfamiliar with the elusive frozen toe, please let me provide a quick description. It's a pink foot shaped sherbert confection with a gumball strategically placed on the big toe like a some ol' ugly corn. It's hilarious! I love it! I have been without the wonderment that is frozen toe goodness for about 15 years now. My last and only encounter was then on Christmas day when a novelty truck passed my grandmother's house when I purchased one and a Mickey Mouse bar. Never again have I been priveledged to frozen toe. It's all so sad, but it's the kind of sadness which will come to an end very soon! I can't wait for tonight! I think I will shave my legs just for this!
